Prairie Lakes AEA & Grant Wood AEA Among Iowa's Top Workplaces

September 25, 2014

Prairie Lakes AEA and Grant Wood AEA were recently listed on the Iowa’s Top 100 Workplaces list. The Des Moines Register published the complete list of Top Workplaces on Sept. 21.

Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback in a survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

“Many of our staff encouraged us to pursue this honor and this truly was a staff-led adventure,” said Jeff Herzberg, Prairie Lakes AEA Chief Administrator. “September has been BIG for Prairie Lakes AEA! We were chosen as an Iowa Top Workplace, received certification as a Results-Only Work Environment ™ and earned full accreditation from the Iowa Department of Education.”

"We have worked hard to cultivate a healthy  environment where every staff member feels valued and supported, and we're proud to see those attributes resonate through this survey," said Grant Wood AEA Chief Administrator Joe Cozier. "I've often said that everything that works is because of the relationships we have, and our relationships internally are some of those that are most important. Thank you to all the staff who participated in the survey, and thank you for making Grant Wood AEA a great place to work!"
