Iowa AEAs share many resources statewide to create efficiency and equitability for schools, educators and families. Some of these resources include the following:

  • AEA Learning Online - The AEAs have placed all of their online courses in one spot. It is your source for professional development and K-12 learning
     
  • AEA Purchasing - AEA Purchasing offers a number of discounts on products for use by teachers, students and schools. From technology and lockers to food and furniture, the savings begin here!
     
  • Iowa AEA Online - Iowa AEA Online is a virtual library that provides no-cost access to high-quality, web-based resources for accredited public and non-public Pre-K-12 schools.

About AEAs
Iowa Area Education Agencies (AEAs) were created in 1974 by the Iowa legislature to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children from birth through age 21. As regional service agencies, AEAs provide special education and school improvement services for students, families, teachers, administrators, and their communities.
